Getting to Know Each Other in Game.
November 24th, 109 P.A.
Note: out of character I’ll refer to you as AoT (Agents of Titan)
Titan Robotics (TR) is known for its relentless commitment to its customers, it’s record-keeping, and it’s reputation for quality. Titan does everything in its power to keep its buyers happy and watch over the general maintenance of the Titan fleet, checking in on its clients whenever it can and offering incentives to keep people coming back to official outlets (free repairs is quite the incentive).
Additionally, Titan seems to have very happy employees. As Agents of Titan you each have worked a short while for the company. Either members of the Maintenance and Tech Support Group, Security, Couriers, General Managers Staff or newly out of Titan Academies (the general training program that teaches Associates skill sets and the mindset of the company). The last year Titan has conducted its trainings for employees in New Cedarville. While attending a training session you are notified via a typed message of a request for your attendance at a special sessions meeting.
The city state of New Cedarville (nestled between Northern Gun and CS Iron Heart) has a booming population of approximately 32,000 people with roughly 2000 more who live along the edges of the city and are not permanent residents.
New Cedarville was once a small, pre-rift community, and is situated on an old crossroads that meets near the coast of Lake Heron. After the great cataclysm, people who sought shelter here survived by hunting, fishing and logging. The town joined the Manistique Imperium for protection. It only grew to prominence after Titan Robotics selected it for the site of its new primary headquarters.
- Your message states:
Room 44 of main Collegiate Building
Locating the meeting room is not hard as the entire building is well mapped out with easy to follow instructions (illustrations) on most walls.
Gathering in the room means showing your Titan ID badge and being ushered in by a Security Guard named Todd. He’s human and tight lipped. Grunting like an expert he will see you inside.
Once in the conference room there are snacks, water and a large table with chairs around it.
Instructions / Ice Breaker / Opening Interlude
A few minutes later a man wearing a suit and tie saunters into the room talking with a woman wearing combat fatigues.
[How this works… post a response here. You can talk amongst each other too. Your “main” response/post will answer the questions below. You’ll receive a Bennie for doing so. Interactive RP can result in additional rewards.]
Interlude:
Agent Towers, the man in a suit, thanks you each for attending. He says he is Valentine’s boss, as he points to the woman with him wearing fatigues. He explains that before he hands over the meeting and your new assignment he’s opening with a game called, Rose, Thorn, Bud. Towers explains that each of you should tell the group three things. This will let your new associates get to know you.
One, Rose: Tell us of a recent positive happening, like a personal highlight or win that has happened to you.
Towers chuckles and says, next, Thorn: Describe a challenge or roadblock you have had issues with before you joined the TR team.
Grinning, like any corporate employee would, while the female in combat fatigues sits down and sighs, Towers says, Bud: An idea for the future they’d like to share, or excitement for events in motion.
Looking up from the chair the drop dead gorgeous woman in combat gear says: “Just answer him. One. Two. Three. He lives for this stuff. Afterwards we will talk logistics and what the mission is. Be patient. The job starts at 1000 credits a week. Lots of overtime and incentive pay.”
