- Not unlike the necklaces given to the Tomorrow Legion’s 13th, although this one signifies more of a attaboy than true legendary status. It is made by a powerful enchanter of unknown origions although some whisper it is Plato of Lazlo. Truth be told Ms. Dee comissioned it special for a small plucky kid from Silverbluff. It’s power is designed to give any hero a true chance to survive the rigors of the battle field and face their fears head on.
Abilities:- Minor x2: Health of a Hero! +2 to vigor rolls!
- Major: Vigor of a Hero!: +1 die type to Vigor
- Major: The Fearless hero: Brave edge: +2 vs vs fear rolls.
- Always a Hero: This item only works for someone who has the heroic hindrance.

Yeah updated with it. I thought it would be cool if it was a holy item or something but a peice of jewlery works for me too.RFT wrote:Looks pretty good.

Re: Orange Starfire Braclet
Hm... I like it, though it does mean that, in theory, a lot of the folks who earn one still won't be able to use the actual benefits associated with it--for a non-Heroic hero, it's just a shiny bauble--which seems kind of weird ("If you aren't already a hero by instinct, don't bother doing anything heroic, because the Legion's rewards don't do nothin' for you, anyway").
A possible edit:
Complication: Always a Hero
If worn by a character with the Heroic Hindrance, this complication has no effect. Characters without this Hindrance, however, gain no benefit from the Bracelet until they have worn it for 24 hours, at which point they gain both the Hindrance and the benefits. Removing the Bracelet for a continuous week will allow this shadow-Hindrance to fade away.
This prevents shenanigans like taking off the bracelet to run a con job, then putting it back on and immediately getting the Vigor bonus when your mark catches on to what you were doing. But it makes the Bracelet a prize to be sought out by any Legionnaire who doesn't actively resist becoming a Hero.

Nice suggestion for sure, we totally need a space for item mods and complications! This is going to be a sig item for Alex from silverbluff. I made it more clear that it was specially made for him.Freemage wrote:Hm... Also edited out the battle hardened edge and replaced it with the brave edge.

Re: Orange Starfire Braclet
So are you planning to reward it to having the bonding properties mentioned by Freemage or leave it as is?

I am going to leave it as is since it is a Sig item and the heroic hindrance is just for flavor. If This item was for player consumption I would totally toss in Freemage’s idea.
