- Special: The character may use the area effect modifiers applied to both Entangle and Stun for 4 and 6 points respectively. In addition the character may spend ISP to boost the roll as if an innate power.
- Powers: By spending 4 ISP and rolling Psionics the character activates both Entangle + Stun on the same target.
- Note: The two effects happen simultaneously and the distracted condition from entangle does not apply to the stun resistance roll from the same activation. It would however apply from previous distracted results or previous uses of the bracer.

HoverSMASH Hoverboard - There are hoverboards, and then there are hoverboards; this one is a champion-grade competition board with dedicated AI co-processors that read operator movements and make tiny adjustments to the board's thrust and balance to assist in maneuvers. You have to try pretty hard to wipe out on one of these, freeing the operator to focus on giving a good show and duking it out with the other racers.

Background

Death Otter appeared in Center several years back through an unscheduled rift event. She wasn't alone, but she was able to elude the team sent to contain and orient them, escaping into the slum district of the massive city. She took the skills she had previously and learned voraciously on her own, quickly earning a name for herself on the street as a purveyor of illegal computer-related services. Malware, pirated and decrypted copies, and various invasions of privacy were her stock in trade. Unsatisfied with petty crime, Death Otter began hiring herself out as a mercenary tech-specialist, revealing an ability to hack in real time that seemed almost supernatural. Her initial successes in this, and an upgrade in equipment courtesy of a heist of a suit of experimental armor and the liberal spending of fees, gave her some credibility...and some bounty hunters on her trail to duck.

Knowing when not to push her luck, Death Otter found out some old mercenary contacts were putting together a crew for a ship...and she pulled some strings to get herself on board.

The +4 versus electricity, radiation and ion attacks is however quite valuable, adding another 6,000 to the mix; a guesstimate based loosely on the light LLW armor's resistance to disease and poison vs the suit cost of 9k.

The armors are otherwise comparable other than the Mechanic's field repair kit, which doubles as an improvised weapon. The Mechanic suit costs 15k more than the standard infantry suit. If we apportion the extra cost evenly between improved vision, repair bonus and weapon function, that gives us 5k to value each extra function.
