Background
Memo was orphaned before he could remember. He was raised by nuns with a group of other orphans. He does not miss his childhood for it was a cruel one. All of the kids and even some of the sisters would never let him forget his parentage and would refer to him as the breed.

When he was 14 Father Ramirez sent him to Rome to train into the priesthood, memo excelled at his studies and made a Jesuit. He wan then sent back to Mexico border to fight the monsters that roamed there.

Thunder rolled down the mountain and lightening crashed overhead. Memo was tired and had been tracking this hombre for 3 weeks straight. He was close and he knew it. Spotting the small village ahead Memo slowed his mule and readied his six gun. Searching from building to building he finds no one but the acrid stench of death is in the air. He knows something is terribly wrong here. At last he comes to the small church and the smell is almost overwhelming. Easing through the door Memo freezes and his blood turns cold. The children are .... Memo jerks awake in a cold sweat. The nightmares have not stopped since that day. Why did god not let him die there on that hill? Why does he have to live with what he saw?

Special Abilities
Sinnin’: Blessed who violate their core beliefs (see Sin on page 56) are forsaken by whatever forces of good grant them their powers. Minor sins give the character −2 to his Faith rolls for a week. Major sins rob him of all arcane powers for a week. Mortal sins cause the character to be forsaken until the penitent hero completes some great quest or task of atonement to regain his lost powers.
