Spoils of War (Interlude)

Bennies are reset with the new quarter so write an interlude about your goals in this war and you will earn a benny.

Felicity sat in the corner of the inn with a mug of ale, counting her winnings from a few hands of dice, and looked around at the full house. All these people, some heading to the war like her group was, others fleeing the war, having lost their homes. Maybe this was the reason Lady Luck had sent her here to the Silver Marches from Cormyr. They needed the Lady’s touch in their lives. Fliss looked at the stack of coins she’d one, then swept them up in her hand. She started to go around the room, pressing the coins into the hands of mothers with children, or others that looked in need from their flight from danger, giving them words of encouragement and blessing for their journey to safety.

Tyrien felt they needed to stay a bit more in Calling Horn. After the drow attack, there was some apprehension among the villagers and visitors. Who were the drow assassins after? Was it she and her companions? Or was in the others traveling through? Or was it just sowing chaos among the surface dwellers? They had some prisoners to reveal some intentions. But assassins were hard to convince to talk. She had not intervened when the village elders decided to deal justice.

Since they were resting up before resuming, she helped out some of repairing fire damage. She was no carpenter though. But not scared of manual labor. She did help with some hunting around the area to at least provide some food to share with the inn. The extra work was going to ahve extra hungry mouth to feed where people were short on time for other things.
