Background

Ragnar Paris was an Icelandic/French immigrant to Britain. Always curious he engaged in a little electronic burglary that got him into more than a little trouble. He was given the chance to enlist to avoid prison. In the army he found another love, the outdoors, and became a good soldier. Ragnar was undergoing selection for the elite Special Reconnaissance Regiment when international tensions started to slide out of control. During the last stage of selection the news broke that a nuclear weapon had been used in South America. A distracted tank driver slammed into Ragnar doing massive damage to his body. As the Army mobilised, a decision was made to convert Ragnar into a full borg for immediate deployment instead of taking the time to heal his body. When he first came around, he looked down at his metal legs and in a haze said in Old Norse “Stalbrok” – Steel Trousers.

Steelbrok the Borg was soon in action as the world fell into chaos. He quickly adjusted to his new boy, becoming almost reckless as he waded through small arms fire to engage the enemy. One day, as he was helping survivors, there was a sudden flash of blue light and he felt himself torn away into some sort of what, Rift?. He emerged in a new landscape far from home….

Some strange creatures attacked him. His railgun still worked, though and those creatures were soon a red smear in the snow. Next day he ran into some new friends. They said they belonged to and an organisation called the Tomorrow Legion.
