Clean Sweep
A group of legionnaires sweeps the rest of the basement level while Qooat takes a minute to attempt repairs on Timothy’s cybernetic systems and Gale checks the stomach contents of the beasts.

The room sweep is treacherous as the team scrambles over and around debris and broken down equipment. Eventually they find a large space where the creatures nested. Human remains and broken gear litter the area. There isn’t much left but it’s pretty clear at least some of the bodies are definitely members of the Tomorrow Legion. The group manages to find a few (3) L-20 Pulse Rifles that will need some attention but could be serviceable again. The scouting also reveals that there are no other exits. They are many meters below ground and an emergency exits from the pre-cataclysm days have caved in or been blocked. The only way out is back the way them came.

Slicing open the belly of one of the beasts Gale is almost overwhelmed by the smell, not that he would admit it to anyone. Inside he sees half digested human remains, bones and all.

With some quick work Qooat is able to restore Timothy’s optics systems to somewhat working order (Glitched, -1 to related Trait tests). A full fix will require time and better technical facilities.

After the search the group makes plans to scout the way out.

Fell looks around with the others as they search here and there. It becomes obvious that the Legion Team is counted among the dead located. Wish we could have saved someone...

"Okay! Merl if you will fly us all up to the higher level, since ladder is DOA now, we can all assemble there. Then Sir Sayeen and I will poke out and see whats what outside."

Here's hoping those CS boys lived.

Moving to the entrance with Sayeen - the Juicer will make his way outside with the Cyber Knight when the man is ready.

While he leads everyone down the long passageway back, Merlaggon agrees with Fell. "Not a problem. I will carry the two of you up first. Cory, you can ride in the saddle while I carry everyone else in my hands."... and with that, Merlaggon will carry up Sayeen and Fell up first, then carry everyone else as they determine. Cory can ride for all or any part of the ferrying as she likes in the saddle. Merlaggon will NOT be letting Cory up on the first trip with Sayeen and Fell.

Timothy sees his eyes turn back on and gives an audible sigh of relief. The eyes are still not quite right, there is a slight distortion, but it's a lot better than being blind. "Thanks for the help Q. At least I can see. I do need replacements. These eyes have been constant problems." Timothy moves to gather with the others ready to be flown out of the power plant, ready to go back to base."Lets hope it's the CS. I don't want a firefight on the way back. But if it is the FoM i'm ready for it."

Right Timothy, who knows who is waiting for us? Plus they could come down here to look for us. Look might be too nice a word in any event. Seeing Sinder take the rear gaurd Sayeen nods to him, " The weight of all of us hang on your shoulders Hotfoot.". Sayeen will sculk up to the front after Merlaggon. Sayeen tries his best to keep to the shadows, and uses piles of debris for cover as he siliently follows the large dragon. Emphasisng his attempt to be quiet he clicks the comms and whispers, "Even half-blind Timothy has much wisdom, if it is the federation we may be able to detect their magical auras if they try to ambush us. Cory, Gale do either of you have the ability to see the arcane?"

Cory pouts. This time it's not just affect. She feels very much let down. There were just some giant bugs down here. Vicious giant bugs, but the mystery was just too straightforward. Too easy. She sighs. At least no one got killed by the giant bugs. Merl got hurt though, but he's a dragon, so he'll be fine. She does a triple check just to make sure there's no hidden passage or secret door.

Then, resigned that the mystery is actually solved, she hops onto her place on Merl and just enjoys true flight for a while, even if it's just in ferry mode. She still keeps a sharp eye out for any other signs of anything.

However, Cory is not terribly curious about the state of the two opposing forces outside. Apprehensive is better description. She is prepared to fight their way out with the rest of SET 1, but the prospect is not a happy one. After Fell's handling of the CS troops with the APC and Sayeen's amazing results just outside, she really has started to think that they may not have to fight out of every situation. Which makes her somewhat question her mystic focus.

But now is not the time for self doubt. It's time to suck it up and put on her grown up pants. Cory braces for the worst and is ready to hang back and let the big boys work while she calls fire and death from the sky above.

    The Walls Have Ears...And Claws
After a long search of the lowest level the 1st SET begins their ascent back toward the surface, wary that either the Coalition or the Federation of Magic may be waiting for them outside. As they proceed up the ramp to the long hallway the group moves carefully and slowly, trying to be stealthily with some modicum of success. Taking the lead, Merlaggon moves down the hallway with the swagger and confidence befitting of a young, proud dragon. His eyes are alert and he spots some sort of movement in the shadows. Behind him Cory and Gale both spot two invisible creatures slinking along the wall. For now they seem to be unaware that they have been spotted, and they crouch in the shadows quietly.

Qooat, you are still aways from the Q-Mobile, up one more floor and then out into the parking lot due south from where you entered the building.

Survival checks, for those who can see them, will reveal the creatures as Brodkil

About an hour has passed since the battle of the bottom level

Line of Sight extends to Grid 40. Beyond that it’s too dark/obscured to see. Detect Arcana is sight based for range purposes.

Who knows what lurks in the dark beyond?

Cory considers her options briefly. She really likes calling the fireballs down from Sun. Watching the bad guys burn isn't exactly the high point, but she has no problem with a righteous justification. In all reality, she doesn't think about the philosophical aspects. There are bad guys, she will stop them. Stopping them with massive bolts of solar fire generally means a dead bad guy.

But, this time she takes a different approach. Sure, she attacks the closest monster with a massive onslaught of the Sun's fury. In addition though, after considering the "biggest gun" the team has, she places her hand briefly on Merlaggon's face. She says a quick prayer and says, "Burn them my friend."

The sudden flare of light from both in front of him and then to the left where Sinder bursts into flame momentarily blinds Qoat as he was using the thermal and nightvision functions of his T-13 armor. What was that? Qoat thinks as he flinches from the heat and shuffles down to G23 crouching turn to look behind the group turning away from the light. If he sees anything, he takes a shot and says on the radio, "More targets behind us.", otherwise he says, "Nothing I can see on our six."

    Mini-Update

Reacting quickly, Merlaggon sends a firey gout toward the two lurking creatures then follows it up with a yelp - kind of the dragon version of a puberty voice crack. One of the creatures manages to roll out of the way and starts running back down the hall into the shadows. The other is caught in the blast and is momentarily taken aback (Shaken).

    Heh. Odd.

Fell walked forward as Merl and Cory brought about an apocalyptic rain of fire. The Juicer flipped the dial for juice on his bio-comp to max.

Oh I see, there is something there. Flames licking about at least one invisible creature, forming an outline.

The Juicer raises his two handed Great FellBlade Chain Saw Sword as a chuckle escapes his lips. Moving adjacent to the demon Fell swings his blade down and back around in a arc to strike the Brodkil once with a powerful downward stroke, again with a arcing slash and a third time by spinning the blade around and stabbing straight out at the demon.

With a almost lethargic nonchalance the Juicer yawns, "Are there more?"

With the blades sharp links spinning slightly still, slowly coming to a stop, Fell has the blade pointed straight down placed onto the floor; he holds the handle with two hands and rests his chin on his hands.

      Roaches
Temporarily frozen by Merlaggon's fast fire attack the first Brodkil flais its arms wildly as Fell leaps forward at superhuman speed and cuts it down with his great chain sword. As the second Brodkil turns tail to run, Timothy and Qooat each snap off a shot to his back. While Qooat's blast misses by a wide margin Timothy manages to overcome the dark and the creature's invisibility he manages to score a hit sending a rail gun round through its back and out the front. Momentum carries to body a few feet forward before it skids to a halt against a wall.

Suspecting there are more enemies lurking in the shadows the group doesn't charge but instead some take cover and prepare for battle. Sinder activates his flame armor while Cory empowers Merlaggon with holy fire. Flying higher Gale calls out into the shadows to try and draw the remaining foes out. Gale's threat, the quick death of two Brodkil, and the presence of a mighty dragon, give those lurking nearby serious pause.

A bright light shines down the hallway, illuminating the darkness, and invisible Brodkil suddenly come into sight. A single figure stands at the end of the hall and addresses the group in a booming voice.

"I am Fatima Winter. I do not wish to fight you. My forces have defeated the Coalition soldiers outside. However, the reprieve is only temporary. No doubt they are already sending reinforcements to this location. Their response will no doubt be swift and indiscriminate. The only hope for both of us is to flee, quickly. I can provide a portal for all of us to escape without further hostilities."

She pauses momentarily to let the intel she provided sink in, "My only price is the book."

      MAP
      GM Notes
Fatima is standing at the bottom of the ladder, if you wish to go up you will have to negotiate or go through her forces.

Fell bows slightly at the waist as he walks towards the female Mage. Managing to control his giggles. Barely. Talking and gesturing with his left hands as he closes the distance with her. Right hand holds the Fellblade down and back, away from her, in a submissive hold. Must close the gap at much as possible.

"The Fatima Winters? I'm not surprised you won against the CS then. I did not see you top side before, when we entered this old power plant. You know who we are then. I mean you're not stupid like that CS Officer. If indeed you really are the Fatima Winters of the Federation, you must realize who we are. Legion. Yeah. Legion. But not just any Legion Team. We are not some security drones. We are not some new wet behind the ears SET Team. We are the First. The First! The most powerful Legion Team ever formed. Fire Dragon God! Toughest Cyborg ever. Most powerful Mind Melter this side of reality! You do feel his power right! A Blessed by all the Elements and likely every God super Mystic! Even Erin Tarn speaks of his fiery powers in awe! None other than the ELDEST AND MOST POWERFUL CYBER KNIGHT Sir Sayeen! Due to Megaversal time travel he may actually be older than his former mentor, Lord Coake. This Knitht has no equals!"

Laughing aloud, still walking, the Juicer continues, "Fatima. Lady Winter. Is it worth dying for? Really? Because you can not stop the FIRST. No CS army scares me. After fighting through endless hordes of demons on Wormwood, no simple minded Brodkil is going to freighten me. I am a Juicer. I Burn. My life is sold already. Ever day I burn away more for the Legion. You know I won't back down. Live fast. Die spectacular! You aren't even that much of an opponent. Not with the full force if the First with me. Fatima. As much as it burns you. You need to leave. Now. Portal yourself away. No book. Too bad. Leave. Or I will destroy you. Drag your dead body outside cut your head off and hold it high rejoicing with the CS that show up! LEAVE NOW OR I WILL BURN YOU WHERE YOU STAND!"

Fell laughs maniacally and continues to move towards her. The blade now scraping across the floor sending sparks in all direction.

Qoat shifts towards the wall as Fell moves towards Fatima Winters.

When Fell finishes speaking Qoat says to his comrades near him:

      Image

as he hears the folly of Fell's proclamation. Maybe next time Fell will listen to his XO when he says to burn the book. On the radio, he says to Sayeen, Sinder, and Timothy, "Get ready to grab on to me, if they decide to fight I'll shift us to a position behind them."

If Fatima orders her troops to attack, Qoat focuses his will on a spot behind the Federation dogs, and presses the red button on his Blink Box taking Sayeen, Sinder and Timothy to E57 via Teleport-Greater.

Kind words, kind words... Sir Sayeen was going to follow behind Fell, but at Q's urging he moves next to him staying low to the ground. With a time worn hand Sir Sayeen grabs Q's ankle.

Echoing Fell's fervent rant Sir Sayeen grimly tries to bolster the moral of the 1st." We cannot let them take the book. Its like my pappy used to say, books are sacred. Once you have one never let it go. I don't know if he was talking about magical books of summoning or something called Catcher and the Rye. But my heart tells me it is here we draw the line, against anyone!"

Sir Sayeen nods to Q and whispers to the quick-flex, " I am ready my friend, launch us into battle." Sir Sayeen's orange psi-maul forms in his free hand.

Cory curses. She curses the situation in general, but the thing that she's most upset about: her short little legs. She knows these distances are too great for her to make a meaningful contribution. She could reach the enemy wizard with her fire ball, but the fighting hasn't actually started yet. She considers momentarily teleport to the front of the battle, but immediately realizes just how foolish that would be. It does suggest an idea though, she can send some others into the battle, and it might help add to the intimidation factor the team is trying to project.

Mumbling a few words and touching the rosary, she asks the Sun and Moon to work together and lend her their power in the form of warriors composed of their holy light. Given the magnitude of the situation, she doesn't stop at one, but summons five soldiers of fire. She asks one to hold back for a moment, and she places a charm on the pseudo rifle the mystic soldier carries, then he quickly follows his comrades to take up position towards the front line.

It was a big drain, but maybe they will help give more weight to the argument of a peaceful solution.

Seeing the reinforcements arrive, Timothy is glad his training has given them a heads up. Once Fell goes into his speech Timothy switches from his rail gun to his vibro sword. I got extra plating for a reason. With Q's direction Timothy will stand next to him, and place his hands on his shoulders, wielding his great sword, ready to attack. "Lets make sure I don't become leader yet."

If the team does get into a fight, Timothy will target the opponent at D55 to clear the way. With a swing of the sword, Timothy catches him in the stomach. At first the armor stops him dead in the tracks of the swing, but with a little more omph but behind it by his servos, the chain greatsword cuts right through the brodkill sending blood and cybernetics all over the place.

        It’s Getting Hot In Here
And Merlaggon never wears any clothes

As the standoff intensifies, each member of the group braces for battle or adds in intimidation in their own way. Fell creeps ever so slowly toward Fatima while spinning his story but a couple of Brodkil step in his path blocking him from advancing any further unless he forces his way past. Behind him Merlaggon roars, causing the Brodkil to take a step or two backward and even Winters seems somewhat frazzled.

Ratcheting up the heat, Cory summons a small band of firey warriors ready to do battle with the mage and the Brodkil. Meanwhile, Qooat and Timothy tense for battle and Sinder’s flames intensify as he positions himself behind Merlaggon.

The heat of the moment, and the presence of so many blazing warriors, brings the situation to a boil. Just then, with impeccable timing, Gale makes his counter offer.

Obviously distress Fatima replies, “You may pass, but as I said, it will be into the arms of the Coalition. Then the book will be in their hands, and destroyed forever. If you wish to hold it for insurance, we can make the trade after we all depart from this place via portal.”

Timothy breaths deeply after that brief rant and heads towards the ladder to climb up. Once at the ladder, Timothy looks up and realizes that the ladder is broken, by him. Fuck Timothy face palms himself and returns to the group for the air lift operation.

Obviously distress Fatima replies, “You may pass, but as I said, it will be into the arms of the Coalition. Then the book will be in their hands, and destroyed forever. If you wish to hold it for insurance, we can make the trade after we all depart from this place via portal.”
Gale nods, "That's a little more reasonable. There's already been too much violence for one day, let's not make a tense situation worse." Gale turns to Fell, his feathers sleek with apprehension. "With your permission I'll quickly scout the other side of the portal to make sure it's not a trap. If anything goes wrong I stand the best chance of escaping. If you don't hear from me in thirty seconds you'll know something's wrong. If something is wrong and I'm stuck, destroy the book. We already saw the damage it could do in the hands of someone who isn't skilled enough to control it. If this is a trap then we don't want to hand it over to someone who is skilled enough to control it and is willing to kill for it."

Sinder is still a bit concerned about going with Winters so he speaks up, " Hells Bells!, Sorry Ms. Winters, Where is the portal going to end up? in the middle of the Mages city where we might have to fight more? My advise is to head out and view the outside for ourselves before we take your Portal! Now if we happen to meet in a bar later Ms Winters I would not mind having a nice chat with you and a few drinks. While we are checking up the topside maybe you can go down and see what hell we wrought down there, might find a few parts for spells."

Fell nods at Gale, "Thank you, yes please, scout."

Looking at Merl, "Okay with flying us all up? I am not up to being portal-ed away right now."

Facing Tim, "YOU are the greatest Cyborg ever. Even blind you slay enemies like a metallic wasp."

Chuckling the Juicer looks at Qoat. "I'm tired, can you carry my backpack please, it heavy."

Turning to face the female federation mage the Juicer says to the team, "Merl can carry me last. I'll have a drink with the Fatima Winters of the Federation."

Pulling a flask out of his black cargo pants pocket, rifle and sword across his back, Fell has a small nip, winces and then grins. He holds the flask out towards Fatima and says, "Tell me about it. From your perspective. You were in that battle, I see it in you, it was long time ago. How'd you survive?"

Qoat clicks over to a private channel to Fell,"'OUR' magic chick is going to be pissed at you. Good Luck."

He walks up to Merlaggon, "Take us to the heavens oh mighty steed of magic and fire."

Once out of sight of the mage and her minions (maybe not with a critical notice failure  ), he opens the pack and put's the book in his pack. He asks Tim, "XO, I can't run and fight with two packs, do you mind taking the rest of Fell's gear.

I am too old for this. Sir Sayeen rises letting out a shaky breath. When was the last time I slept?. Over the comms he acknowledges the discussion, in a worn voice. Good luck Gale. 30 seconds to return gotcha. I am heading to Merlaggon.". As Sayeen heads to Merlaggon for another ride, he casts an apraising eye on Winters and the forces under her command. I wonder if they beat a hastey retreat, or are they a team sent in after victory was achieved. Perhaps their composure now will let me know.

Whether she realizes it or not, Cory's feelings most closely resemble Timothy's. She doesn't know why the team is standing around yammering and swapping backpacks around (she knows and understands the reason for swapping the pack, but why is it such a production?). She could (almost) not care less about Fell's insane moves towards Winters. She is more concerned with the whole idea of trusting her enough to go through a magic portal. She does not like that idea one bit.

Gale going through doesn't allay her fears either. She thinks he's a great team member, but maybe too focused on himself sometimes, he might not notice dangers that affect the rest of the team. Cory will most definitely not volunteer to be the first one through, even her innate curiosity is tempered at times by common sense - or maybe survival instinct. If it was some mysterious portal for exploring, she would be right there, but what is more likely than not a trap is not anywhere near as enticing.

And when Sinder gets in on the whatever with Winters, Cory can't help but groan audibly. She looks around and mumbles, "Everyone has lost their mind." She doesn't even want to take her place with Merl. She shoots her dragon friend a warning via telepathy, "Merlaggon, watch out I don't like this situation. As the saying goes, "I've got a bad feeling about this."

          (Rolls carried over)

Everyone lost their mind? Damn Cory is right! Look at her and Timothy, both are too nice, to say what needs to be said. What and send Gale into the unknown, that must be a bad idea as Cory usually jumps at the chance to go first. Sir Sayeen grimly changes direction, and heads to Fell. He clicks his comms breifly, his voice strong and self reprimanding, "I appologize, my lack of sleep breifly impared my judgment...Cory and Timothy are right... This is not us, perhaps we are under kind of spell or tired of bloodshed and are looking for an easy way out. Gale I know you would sacrifice yourself for any of us, but going through an unknown portal is not how it will happen... Not on my watch.". Sayeen reaches Fell and takes him aside. Sternly he speaks to his friend. " We have a choice, it is not to take the portal or not. It is do we hold true to our past promise. I have taken an oath to share with the CS commander our findings from the plant. I would be loath to break that oath, and truthfully I will not. But I will not hold the rest of you to my oath. The way out is ahead Fell, it is not through some unknown portal. Either Winters lets us pass, or we take the fight to her. That is the choice but it is hers to make. After her choice I can scout the CS ahead, and provide enough of a distraction for everyone to get out, or if not we fight our way out against the coalition.". Sayeen's voice softens at the end, he pats Fells shoulder in friendship, and stands next to him ready for what comes next.

I'll keep an eye on this Witch. Once you are all up. Merl, please get me. Then we go out to see what's left of the CS. I know the CS can be trouble ...but I do not feel like this Commander was. If he's alive. I'm not sure where the confusion came from but. Let's get. Ready? Go. Thank you."

Fell will motion everyone to go, go, go. Up and away. He keeps an eye on the Witch until s his turn to go with Merl.

Merlaggon will glide to just past Winters and wait for people to catch up. He will then start ferrying them up in the order dictated by Fell and Cory. He will be keeping a close eye on Winters as much as possible. Any that may have problems with holding onto his net, like Saleen, will be carried up in his hands... except for Cory in her saddle.

After a confusing and somewhat awkward exchange the 1st SET makes preparations to fly back up to the ground level, leaving the Federation of Magic at their back and the prospect of the Coalition to their front. Gale flies up first, while the others load onto Merlaggon’s cargo net, cradle in his arms, or sit on their saddle depending on how much he likes them. Fell stays back a bit to try and share a drink with Winters, but she refuses and instead replies coldly.

“Hopefully the CS will kill you all and I can just pick the book from your bones.”

Not the worst shut down Fell’s every received when offering a woman a drink, but not the best either. Must be something about magic users.

Gale reaches the top and immediately comes across a squad of six poking around the edge! They all turn and raise their weapons, taking a moment to identify the threat.

Just to be clear, if you’re with Merlaggon you’re on hold until you can get put down or fly free on your own. Sinder, you would have had to drop your flame armor to hitch a ride. If you want to use your fly power instead of riding with Merlaggon that’s fine but make sure you have enough ISP and consider yourself free to act without waiting for Merlaggon.

Sinder would add Fly to follow Merl, but not use it till all are ready to go up. Thinking tail end charlie, got to cover Ms Winters as Fell disengages from her and heads to us. Once Dragon flies I follow. Still using the big boy as a meat Shield forward. But not backward.

Hearing Gale's warning about the Skelebots up on the next level, Qoat pokes his head up out of the bag like a Meerkat and says to Merlaggon, "Light them up Merlaggon." After hopefully a blast of fire down the passage, Qoat looks down for a clear spot and says to those in the bag with him, "Time for a little bit of that ol'Maximum Effort. Grab on, we've got to go." We are f$cked if we stay in this bag. He holds his hand over the red button of the Blink Box, and when he feels his team grab hold, presses it attempting to teleport to C42. Here goes nothing...

Up flies Merlaggon. He will be landing on C-D 46-47, and breath his cone of fire on as many skelebots as he can, as well as use his tail in a sweep on as many as he can.

Fire Breath: Dexterity check at -2 or 2d10 per opponent. I will roll for 4 opponents, hoping for a favorable placement.

Cory is tired. Much of her magical energy is gone and she can feel it. She's not sure how much more she can go. The summoning of the soldiers took a lot out of her, she only hopes they contributed to the Federation zealot backing down. But now she's confronted by a squad of skelebots. She rolls her eyes, Why couldn't it have been more demons, these metal men do not warrant the power reserved to the truly evil. If she had more energy she would roll her eyes at Merlaggon's war cry. Instead, she just hangs on.

Wishing to have a quick end to this fight maybe, Cory thought that Sayeen or Fell might be able to talk their way out of yet another mess, but no, everyone's already started, yelling, breathing fire, smashing with a large tail - and that was just Merlaggon. She hasn't registered what anyone else has done. Keeping up with the junior dragon, Cory unleashes some fire of her own. It takes much of her Moon based energy as well, the effort required to turn that quieter power into a destructive for is much greater. She uses the Moon power to call down a storm of fiery bolts targeting one Skelebot in particular and a moment later she lashes out with a blast of flame covering three or four of the robots with her Sun-fire. She puts all she has into the shots.

Fell sees the party ascend and turns his red rimmed blue eyes to look at Winters. A look of sheer hate stabs out of his steel blue eyes at the Federation mage.

Standing alone with the Federation Mage and the Brodkil, Fell barely registers the constructs Cory created.

            You are mine.

A unpleasant grin spreads across the Juicer's hard face. With ungodly speed he steps closer to Winters and slashes the Great Sword around madly cutting at her with ruthless silent abandon.

Fell presses the attack on her until he can slay her. If anyone or anything attacks him he will let his bio-comp heal him and keep attacking the mage until she lays dead at his feet. The Brodkil will be next once Winters is gone.

Sometimes you just have to let loose on evil and cut it down.

With the report of the bots, it's apparent that either the reinforcements or the original company is chasing down the last of the Fed Magic. Timothy clicks on his radio. "The skelebots are probably looking for queen bitch. Don't attack unless fired upon."

Timothy braces for the transport with Q and his great sword in hand. Once located behind the skelebot, Timothy takes a quick note of everyone's locations. I knew I should have recorded that discussion, and the skelebots are not going to listen to anything I say. Awww hell.

Timothy will hold his actions unless the skelebots fire upon the team, at which point he will swing on the skelebot at F 43.

              Shooting Gallery
Gale pops up over the ledge only to be greeted by a squad of skelebots. The Mind Melter is, of course, quick to react and raises his armor just in case. He doubts he’ll need it. Afterall, they couldn’t possible want to harm him, they must know who he is!

Two levels below Fell and Winters are in a stand-off, neither breaking the gaze of contempt they held with each other. As quick as lightning the juicer makes his move, but the combat mage is surprisingly quicker! She draws her flaming sword and waits for Fell to come at her. As he closes in with jis juicer speed she slashes (First Strike) as he comes in with his own attack but he quickly ducks and brings his sword to bear. The blow is a crushing one, but it the next two in quick succession that bring her down. Nearby the stunned Brodkil, facing a juicer and three flaming warriors, look like they don’t have much fight in them.

Unfortunately for the Brodkil, before they can run Sinder sweeps in and incinerates two of them. Those who remain turn invisible and scurry into the depths of the power plant.

Up top, the Skelebots train their weapons on Gale but do not fire (on hold). Instead one of them calls out, “You have entered the sovereign territory of the Coalition States. Surrender or be fired upon.”

Before Gale can taunt them with his rapier wit, Merlaggon swoops up from the darkness below. Without hesitation the six bots open up on the dragon! The shots are somewhat wild and many go wide. Those that do hit bounce off Merlaggons armored scales do little more than making tiny singe marks. As Merlaggon flies through the hail of laser fire Qoot manages to teleport himself and Timothy in behind the robots. Merlaggon touches down in their midst breathing fire and lashing out with his tail. Two of the bots succumb to the the flames while his tail smashes three of them into inoperability. From her saddle Cory launches an onslaught of flame, reducing the last two bots to charcoal while Sayeen hops down and makes ready to fight.

For their position of cover nearby a squad of CS soldiers watch with righteous indignation as a monster from the bowels of this facility eviscerates their scout bots. The rifleman begin firing at the group, especially Tim and Qooat who now are at the front instead of the rear!

The first grunt, launches a flare illuminating the whole area and negating any darkness penalties. The pigman sends a huge gout of plasma slams into Timothy (19 damage, AP 6, = shaken) taken the cyborg a little off guard. Nearby one laser bolt blasts off the floor near Qoot while two more hit the Quick-Flex before he can get out of the way but his armor handles the damage. Unfortunately, another volley hits him square in the chest (30 damage, AP 2 = shaken, 3 wounds - sorry!). The squad keeps on firing, another going for Gale but Merlaggons big body gets it he way, shielding the hit. The last grunt opens fire on Sir Sayeen, his prowess at avoiding ranged attacks protects him but unfortunately one round breaks through (22, AP 2 = shaken, 1 wound).

At the very end of the hall way a set of floodlights come on, revealing the outline of a UAR-1 Enforcer. The pilot, momentarily shaken by Merlaggons appearance looks as if he is about to recover and open fire!

Keeping an eye out for unseen invisible Brodkil Fell squats down over the dead Winters.

              Damn. She was... fast.

The Juicer pockets her fire blade and goes through all her possessions taking anything that looks valuable. (What will I find?)

Hearing the commotion above Fell radios:

              "Sit Rep Tim!"

Notes: Increased Action Upgrade (3) Additional Action (Like Split the Seconds), Quick Edge. Parry 9, 10 or 11. Toughness 24 (12) Often wears riot armor in combat but just for looks and it doesn’t add to his Toughness. Otherwise, wears an armored suit & tie, or jeans and t shirts.

Qoat materializes with Timothy seeing the robots go down, "That's what I call fire suppression!" as he looks at the charred remains He then sees a laser blast go past him. Turning, he sees the six Coalition troops begin firing and the looming shape of the Enforcer robot. Sh$$$$$$$$$$$$$t! Qoat thinks as he jerks back and forth dodging most of the blasts, but lines of smoke still billow from his armor as the coherent light burns groves into his armor.

              Image

"By the Great and Powerful Qoz's smooth left testicles!" That was too close. "Tim we are in the wrong spot. Merlaggon get up here so we can take out that UAR-1." If Tim and Merlaggon come up to him, he attempts to teleport the three of them to D2, and then dives to the ground.

              Contingency:

If Tim and Merlaggon don't join him, he falls to the ground hoping the troops think he's been hit and is out of the action.

              AH

On hold Until Cory is finished her turn.

Merlaggon yells out to the Enforcer robot, "Time for Big Brother! Pick on someone your own size, big bad robot guy!! I am coming for YOU!!!!", and with that, he squints and sticks out his tongue at them.

With that done, Merlaggon walks up to Qoat, and puts his claw gently on the Quick-Flex's shoulder.

              "Do it!"

Now to the next problem, those Flaming CS Deadheads, they seem to be having a grand old time with his team mates. Time to give them a warm welcome, right down to their bones!

Sinder flies toward the group, behind the cover of the Dragon at first, Merl is always good for cover, (50 C). Hugging the ground like a giant fireball knowing he has to avoid his own companions with his deadly aura once close enough he will break right along the wall till close enough to launch (46 A trying to seek cover behind the pillar on the right. Prone if possible.)

He realizes he might not make it to the Deadheads but his Fire Bolt/Burst will reach out and turn them all into slag. (Bolt centered just a little bit south of 25 C)

Fell finishes rifling threw Winters possessions, pockets a few things and sees Cory suddenly appear next to him. With a genuine smile on his face he stands up facing Cory.

I will never be able to grasp how this magic mumbo jumbo stuff works - but thankfully she knows.

Stepping very close to Cory the Juicer wraps his arms around her, pulling her close. Leaning his head down to speak softly in her ear the Juicer says:

"Thank you Cory. I can always rely on you."

Holding her tightly he says, "Ready when you are."

Warm breath breathing softly against her neck, Fell relaxes and prepares to be whisked away and jump into combat.

If a whole bunch of CS are up there I better be ready to fight. Flipping the bio-comp up a degree the Juicer feels power surge into his veins. Shaking a little he tenses with anticipation of battle.

Speaking before thinking he says, "You smell good."

              Shit.

Sir Sayeen tries to do his best to move out of the way of the incoming railgun fire, but its just too much, and he is too tired and too old to get completely out of the way. One shot catches him in his spleen. He tries to hold in the gushing blood to no avail. Grimacing he wobbly tries to chase after Sinder. " Hotfoot Ole JB is going to be proud." I know I am. Sir Sayeen's vision blurrs and he looses sight of his "nephew". He shakes his head tring urge what blood is left in his body to stay in his brain. Ok, lets see what we can do about that enforcer. I got to help Tm and Merlaggon.
Sayeen's voice is tired and strained over the radio. " Timothy, Merlaggon, Q. Sinder took out the grunts, bless their families. I am making my way to you, be there in 9 seconds."
Sir Sayeen Taps into what little is left of his inner reserves and to his horror finds nothing left. A void black as the deepest night is their to greet him, smiling like a friendly grim reaper. The nanites try to feed, but eat at his brain, and heart instead. Coke warrned me it could end like this.
Sir Sayeen clutches his head and heart as the very nanites that fueled his amazing abilities struck out against him, possibily ending a long and lustrious career as a cyberknight. He stumbles to the ground unmoving.
A faint errie whisper comes over the comms, filled with a great sadness, " Severin, you were like a son." Then static.

                Firefight
                Image
On the top level, the 1st SET recovers from initial contact with the CS Recon Squad and begins to organize a counter attack.

Merlaggon and Timothy gather around Qooat and get ready to close down range. In order to cover their movements Sinder swoops in, his flaming wings spread wide, as he drops a ball of fire on the CS Grunts obliterating their entire position in a gout of mega damage flame! Seeing the team engage and knowing Fell is stuck below, Cory teleports down to his position. With Merlaggon and Timothy in position Qooat powers up his Blink Box for a big move and in a flash the trio appear behind the UAR-1 Enforcer. Merlaggon yells loudly and the Enforcer pilot is suddenly caught looking the wrong way (loses his action) while Timothy cuts into its legs, unfortunately the heavy armor plating easily resists his chain sword.

Gale tries to keep everyone guessing by attempting to trick the UAR-1 pilot that Merl is not on their side. However, the pilot is not buying any of it. He doesn’t care who is on his side or not, everyone is a target!

As Sinder clears a path, Sir Sayeen attempts to close the gap to the Enforcer with his legendary quickness. Unfortunately, all the battling of the day has taxed his elderly mind and he loses focus. Grabbing his head, the old man collapses to the ground, with only Gale in position to see him fall.

                Felling up a Corpse
Two levels below - with Winters down and the Brodkil in the wind - Fell gets a quick situation report from Timothy, hearing news of a CS recon squad engaging the group. Doing a search of her possessions Fell finds a few items in addition to her TW Flaming Sword. He easily spots some sort of gun, which Fell can’t seem to work or even figure how it’s supposed to work. Rifling through her pockets and pouches he also finds a cred stick, a notebook (in an unrecognizable language) and a pocket computer.
                • TW Combat Mage Armor (+7 Armor, +1 Strength die type, darksight, farsight, Rapid Recharge, Full Environmental Protection)
                • TK Machine Gun (Range 30/60/120, Damage 2d8+4, RoF 4, AP 2)
                • TW Flaming sword (Str+d10, AP 4, Mega Damage)
                • Notebook
                • Pocket Computer
                • Credit Stick, 75,000 credits
Just as he is working on pulling off her armor, Cory pops into the picture catching him the act of strapping a female corpse. Awkward.

Being the king of awkward, Fell just grins, finishes what he is doing and holds on tightly to Cory. Making some cheeky remark in the process.
                Initiative
Tim will know that if this is a recon squad there is a larger force nearby that they are attached to.

Fell ties off his bundle of loot. Flaming Sword dropped into a cargo pocket along with notebook and PC, gun shoved into waist belt, cred stick in his wallet, and everything else scooped up. With the armor gathered into a bundle the Juicer holds onto Cory.

Looking serious, in Dragonese, Fell says to Cory:

"Sayeen has me worried. He radioed...but where ever you can pop us to. Thank you."

                Less serious. Fell winks.

Yet again Qoat takes hold of reality and twists it to his will as he lifts his finger off the red button of his Blink Box and rolls to the side after bring Merlaggon and Tim behind the giant robot. Now what? We are at point blank range, that's it! Qoat slaps his leg and rapidly presses the keys on the Skill Calculator. If they have trouble seeing they can't shoot effective. He finishes the calc and says, "Be blurry," as he wills the Pilot and Gunner's eyes to be unfocused. Now we just got to dodge the giant feet and fists... "Get him Merlaggon!"

Cory grimaces inside her helmet. Wait, what?

She grimaces again and wraps her arms around Fell and says, "Hold on, dumbass"

Concentrating for a moment she pictures the spot Sayeen went down and aims the teleport as close to the old man as she can. In fact, she utters a few more prayers to the Sun and Moon to make sure she actually reaches the top successfully. She so tired and so worn out that she feels as if even such a simple thing is going to fail if she doesn't put all her focus into the task.

Once up above she rushes over to the fallen knight. If he appears hurt she will try with her remaining psychic energy to heal him. She also doesn't pay any attention to Fell at this point, kind of peeved at his schoolboy antics. She is pretty sure she and Merl never said anything too bad. Probably not. Sure.

A familiar voice echoed in Sir Sayeen's mind stirring him ever so slightly.
What are you doing on the ground Sayeen?
Sayeen struggles to respond and he mumbles incoherently, "Is that you JB? Your little hot foot is all grown up.
The distant voices rings again in Sayeen mind, What are you doing on the ground?
Sir Sayeen tries to answer but his voice is brethless, " My heart stopped JB."
The voice instills Sayeen with warmth fighting back the cold seeping into the knight's body, When has that ever stopped you? A bumb ticker never stopped you from searching for your daughter, is it going to stop you from defending your friends? You know what lies out there, you are their only hope...

Inside Sayeen nano-bot 10012 found its way to Sayeen's damaged heart. Indeed it was too damaged to repair, and too broken to mend. This curious little nano-bot also called Mark, caught the last of Sayeen's spark and gathered many more bots reforging the artiaral connections and forming a new heart made from these curious little bots. They starting beating and pumping blood super charging Sayeen's body in the hopes his mind would follow, but they stalled only to be reinvigorated by an outside flow of energy. Indeed his mind did awaken.

Sir Sayeen's eyes opened looking 20 years younger. He rose with conviction, waves of righteous energy wafting off of him reminiscent of a mega juicer doing their final years.
Sayeen looks at Cory. I would hug you if it would not hurt you too much.. The knight simply nods his thanks. His eye's are filled with a bittersweet stare, that may or may not haunt Cory until the last of her days.

" Family, I must do what needs to be done. Severin, I had no sons till I met you. You will try to follow but this team needs its leader. Cory, my fanclub is in your hands as is Fell. Don't loose each other. Q, I never quiet got your whole name, but this team needs some one of great skill. Gale, keep your sheer awesomeness flowing, mighty like a glacier capable of knocking down the most rocky of mountains. I will miss you all, but happily you all will miss me less because there is a photo for each of you in my room at the castle." With his words finished and his heart filled with love he rushes forward going faster than anyone has the right to go. As he approaches the enforcer he dances between its legs. Sayeen reaches into his pocket tossing his black marker to Timothy, " Timothy, keep this team true and put your mark on the world!"
Sayeen also reaches out to Merlaggon, " Noble Dragon, remember with your strength comes an obligation to defend those who cannot defend themselves."
He flashes out of the area exiting the powerplant.
" I will always be with you dear friends!" His words carry a literal meaning as somehow in the span of three seconds, he not only made it out of the power plant and to what lays beyond, but he managed to sign the backs of each member of the 1st Love Sir Sayeen!
its my time, my blaze of glory.

If the Enforcer tries to leave combat with Merlaggon, or when it is his time to attack, assuming it is still up Merlaggon will try to Bite it in two... a Wild Attack. Note, Merlaggon's Parry is still reduced due to last round's Wild Attack. I am also assuming Timothy is still in combat with it too. If I do not hit it, I will use Extra Effort [dice]2[/dice].

The battle is progressing quickly as enemies drop like flies, good team mates, people are really learning how to workk together. Time to bring a new trick to the table and help out.

                  Dragon Force
No good in close the Enforcer tries to hold his ground but is assailed on all sides. Gale taunts with his superior wit while Sinder tosses fire balls, Timothy hacks, and Qooat reduces the pilot's effectiveness. All of it culminates with a crushing blow from Merlaggon that sends the giant robot to the scrap heap for good. Looking around the 1st SET realizes Sayeen managed to recover enough to wander outside the power plant and quickly follow after him. Outside, the smoke clears and revealing at least 30 charred, dead, CS soldiers spread on the ground, most of them behind rubble with their lifeless hands gripped tight on their weapons pointed either at the fallen cyber knight, resting against a destroyed spider skull walker, or at the entrance to the plant. Sir Sayeen's armor is strewn about and the CS commander, perhaps the only living being in the immediate area, has the elderly knight gripped by the throat with one hand and a vibro dagger in the other ready to pierce Sir Sayeen's eye. The CS commander's armor is slightly charred, although noticeably less than the rest of his troops.

The commander chortles at the old knight who is barely breathing let alone conscious. "Well I have never seen that! Is that all you have left?" Sir Sayeen whispers something discernible to the commander. The commander shakes his head vigorously no. "Peace is not a word I am familiar with knight. You killed all my men. My enforcer should make quick work of the rest of your team, its not like you have a dragon..." Again Sir Sayeen whispers to the commander whom laughs. "Your Son is inside that plant? We'll perhaps you two need to be reunited!" The commander plunges the vibro knife into Sayeen's head which rolls to the side in clear view of the 1st SET. A smile is on the knights face as perhaps in his last moment he saw the team emerge victorious from the plant. A soft white glow comes from the package Sir Sayeen had in a death like grip. The Commander wrestles it from the body, revealing the neural mace Fell had once given Sir Sayeen. It shines bright, brighter than a 100 suns for a moment. The Commander looks in awe as he realizes he now knows something about the righteous fervor that once beat strongly in Sir Sayeen Gabbersleaf's heart.

Stepping out of the Power Plant the Juicer shields his eyes from the glare. Is that? Wait, what!

"SAYEEN"! Fell nearly stumbles from the mental anguish he sees before him.

As Sayeen is cut down by the CS Commander, Fell races across the distance, throwing up in the process, puke drips down the front of his armor and the Juicer screams, "Sayeen! No! Gods no. You CS FUCKER!"

The Juicer closes the distance between himself and the CS Commander. Fell reaches out, grabs the CS Commander with his left hand, then pulls the man down prone onto the ground next to him, and pulls Sayeen's headless body closer to himself, easing the dead Cyber Knight to the ground. Turning his exposed side to the CS Commander the Juicer shields the dead, half elf's already dead body, from the man.

Laying Sir Sayeen prone on the ground, tears steaming down his cheeks, Fell grunts... I know what you would say Sayeen. I can't. I feel too much hate! Fell looks down at the lifeless form of Sir Sayeen and turns to face the CS Commander.

With a look of distaste the Juicer slams his Great Chain Sword (Fellblade) down onto the CS Commanders head.

Slamming his Chain Sword down onto the CS Commanders face/head, Fell crushes the CS man's face into a bloody pulp. Unable to see the Juicer cries and continues to slam his blade down. Once the CS Commander is obviously dead, Fell holds the Knight and cries, rocking back and forth.

Looking at Fell the others (you) can see his hair is now stark white, any of his original black hair is gone.

After a few moments the grieving Juicer reaches down to the bio comp and dials it up. Shaking his head and grunting Fell carefully lays Sayeen down. All emotion leaves his face and he says, "We will carry him back to Castle Refuge. He needs a heroes farewell. Keep alert for more CS. Merl. Bring your netting. Let's get... let's get our friend home."

Fell knees by Sir Sayeen until Merl brings the netting over so the First can take Sir Sayeen home.

I know Sir Sayeen might turn the other cheek but a Juicer acts. So even though Fell started thinking about what Sayeen would do, Fell acted, and attacked. Juicers...fight.

Cory watches the scene in horror. It's not often a young woman finds a mentor she can respect. A bat shit crazy mentor is the best kind, and Sayeen was the best kind of bat shit crazy. He was the heart and honor of the 1st SET and to see his head separated from his body by a CS scumbag fires up all the anger and rage inside Cory. If she wasn't exhausted and out of energy, her onslaught would have been even more fierce. Still, she digs deep within her tiny body and deep within her mind to come up with the strength to murder this bastard. She doesn't cry out, she doesn't scream, she mumbles her prayer and unleashes the fire. She doesn't even pretend at this point that it's righteous, this is pure hate and vengeance. And she doesn't care. Sun would understand, Moon may not.

She tries not to hit Fell.

Qoat follows the team out of the power plant, his rifle in hand ready to defend himself when he comes upon the carnage wrought by the old cyber knight. His eyes flick back and forth trying to figure out what could have caused it when he sees the Coalition soldier holding Sir Sayeen by the neck and his pronouncement that one man from his team killed 30.

The Quick-Flex can only watch as Sir Sayeen is killed and then Fell, vengeance oh so visible on his face, take out the Coalition commander just as brutally.

Thank you for your sacrifice, Sir Sayeen, I can't say that I don't value living another day, but we are just as bad as they, Qoat thinks to himself. He recalls his time in the burbs. It was never easy, but if you kept your head down, you were safe, and that was because of the methods of the Coaltion. He was born on this transformed earth, but Qoat knows and does not consider himself a native, but a guest, a refugee at best. His family was forced from his world due to unwanted intrusion as well. That humans have not peacefully accepted the influx of alien beings forced upon them is understandable, though Qoat wished that the circumstances so long ago had not forced them down such a path of conflict.

Out here on the frontier, these same troops were keeping both human and peaceful d-bee safe from monsters from the rifts. The brutality they had seen while stationed here unimaginable, most likely making it impossible for them to see anything not human as friendly. Today, we had just reinforced that belief. This was not just a tit-for-tat piece of justice, but a loss for the Tomorrow Legion despite still having kept the book safe from the Federation of Magic. Quietly, Qoat says, "We will never have peace, if our first inclination is destruction."

Qoat has no taste for salvage this day, "Let's get out of here." He makes his way to the Q-mobile to take them back to Hammond.

After reaching the surface with the others, Merlaggon sees Sayeen’s death. Tears stream down his face, and Merlaggon hangs his head. If only I had come straight up instead of looking for something of value from the wreckage downstairs. I thought you would’ve waited for us before starting anything. His gaze then turns to the wreckage of the Coalition’s patrol. I won’t hold a grudge. Sayeen wouldn’t want for this to cause me to kill even Coalition soldiers wantonly. I will try to make him proud of me.

”I will gather up a bit of the best items here into my net, but not Sayeen. I will carry him in my arms. He will not be just baggage. Cory, you may climb aboard again when you are ready. There are things I need to do.”

With that, Merlaggon quickly grabs choice pieces of what is here from the Coalition troops (he is still Greedy), tears still rolling down his face. (I was going to have him grab the Heavy Railgun from the Enforcer if it was in decent condition after the battle.) If he notices any of the Coalition soldiers are still alive, he leaves them that way. If they need to be stabilized, he will try his best with first aid (Untrained, but no penalty due to JoaT). When he is done, assuming Cory has climbed into the saddle already, Merlaggon will gently pick up Sayeen’s body and cradle it against himself as he flies back to the Embassy.

Sinder closes on the Bot, as he sees Sayeen passes him by in a big Hurry and out, he hears the battle continue outside, it is good to hear the clamor and din of battle. As he reaches the heap of scrap metal that was once a CS pride and joy. Then from the outside a strange sound of silence. Some of the others have gone out already they were closer to the exit.

As he navigates the ruins he suddenly pops out, into the fresh air but it is heavy with the smell of ozone from energy weapons and that of burnt flesh. His eyes are assaulted with the gory scene bunt bodies everywhere and wreckage of the CS machines.

His eyes slowly go to his team members, they seem to be gathered around something. Something isn’t right, something's very wrong as he gets closer he sees Uncle Sayeen down, bloody and lifeless.

Sinder tries to hold it together. But bursters aren’t known for such control, their emotions are shown in the fire that covers their bodies, so the fire comes to life, bigger and brighter then normal for what might be considered a few mins but in reality, just a few seconds. As he repeats, “No, No, No! not Sayeen, never Uncle Sayeen. He has to tell me all those stories again.” Tears trickle down his cheeks, he uses his arm to wipe the tears and his nose. "Get your act together, be strong, we are still in enemy territory we got to grab his body and get out of here.”

The flames go away except on his wings. He lands close to the others. “We need to move out. Someone check the Bots for the video recorders and computer. Don’t leave evidence of who did this. I don’t want to see any videos of Uncle Sayeen death for their propaganda. Grab anything, we can this has got to look like the CS lost and the enemy cleaned them out. Not that the enemy was scared to death of what happen and just took their fallen. Come on go Uncle Sayeen gave his life for us , He would want us to be who we are, The First Sayeen's Hammer!”.
Sinder walks over near the body and retrieves the Neural Mace. He looks at it curiously and then attaches it to his belt.

Timothy feels useless after the fight with the enforcer. What the hell happened there? Where the hell is that crazy old man? As he walks out of the power plant, he has his sword ready for anything and is expecting the rest of the Chicago Company to be there with full guns ready. Seeing the aftermath of the one sided fight with Cyber-Knight with the Chicago Company, Timothy is taken back at the shear power that the 1st SET processes. Well, Fuck.A fight with these people will have large casualties.

Timothy will go from person to person to ensure they are in fact dead. If they are not dead, he will quickly separate their heads from their bodies quickly with the vibrosword, even if Merl heals them. If Merl objects Timothy will look right into his eyes, "To let them live would be more damaging to their families and their pride then to ensure they are sent off to the other side." Timothy will return to checking each soldier, grabbing dog tags, and helping Merl identify usable salvage to return to base. My next report is going to be pretty shitty. On the pluss side, at lease there is one less Cyber-Knight in the world.

                  [Rolls carried over]

Cory does something between stewing (like an adult) and pouting (like a child). She acknowledges Merl with a nod and walks out towards the edge of the battle zone. Lost in thought, she watches everyone absentmindedly, Sinder, Timothy and Merl combing though the wreckage. Such a strange time to worry about the physical things. Cory thinks rubbing the rosary between her hands, looping the band of beads over both hands and counting off with her thumbs.

She is surprised to see Fell take it so hard, but more surprised by Sinder's reaction. She had not fully realized how deep the connection was between him and the old man. She has no comfort for anyone, so she just stares at each of them with cold eyes and mumbled prayers to Sun and Moon. She has seen plenty of death, and while not cold or heartless, she holds the sadness and the tears at bay, they do no one any good if she lets them out.

When everyone has done what they need to, she is ready and climbs into the saddle on Merl.

Carefully letting Merl take Sayeen, the Juicer looks at each of the other members of the First.

Following Qoat towards the Q-Mobile the Juicer coughs then runs his hands through his hair. In a gruff voice the Juicer says:

"Qoat has it right. Time to leave. Pack it fast. Five minutes and we go. Whatever you are salvaging - hurry. I want us back in Hammond ASAP."

Throwing the armor from Winters into the back of the Q-Mobile, then the dead mages weapons, Fell attaches the flaming sword to his belt with a snort. About to climb into the vehicle he stops, turns and makes his way back to Sir Sayeen.

Taking the Knights Helm, Fell turns back to the vehicle and gets in.

                  Deadpan he says:

                  "Lets roll people."

Sinder gathers what he can, he is still sniffling and tears are still there. Then follows the others back to the vehicle. Somber, he goes through what he could have done to stop it, "Nothing I was flying not at my fastest but I had used most of my power. I stayed and made sure Fell was safe. Then destroyed those bots that were firing on Sayeen and the others. Continued closing on the big bot, firing as I closed at full speed. Sayeen was moving fast and past me."

"Sayeen Why?" more tears and sniffling, "I got to send a message to Mom and Dad they need to know. better from me then hearing it from someone else at a different time."
