    Per Qooat's question, I have moved to quarters for session purposes (3 months instead of 4). With this system and good posting you might be able to earn an advance every 3 monhts, otherwise every 6 months or so. Too fast? Too slow?

    FYI for any who are confused, Gale is male. I noticed some female pronouns tossed in his direction.

    Then again, maybe your characters have a hindrance where they can't tell the difference? ;)

    Merlaggon would only be carrying the Chain Greatsword when in human form... though it would be in limbo the rest of the time. Items have to be customized for a dragon to use it in its natural form... if it can at all. If someone else would prefer it, they can have it. I would be quite happy with a regular chain sword and the light ion pistol.

    I think we definitely need to get you some armor, a chain sword, and a gun asap. The troll I think had a mini rail gun which I believe you could use as well.

      Nope. His alternate form is a brawny Human... but still size 0. You need to be at least size 1 to use the mod 2 Mini-Railgun.

        Cory has a puny strength... unless someone boosted it he club is about as good as a long sword. She would however be happy to carry a sword cause it looks cool.

          Hi Merl,

          I saw you asking for the NG-56 light ion pistol. I really lack str and need a ranged weapon( I assumed my weapons got taken by the Troll and Orcs when I got captured). Do you think you might be ok taking one of the NG-L5 laser rifles? I would take one but they are just too heavy for Sayeen's old bones.

          If you got your heart set on the NG-56 no problem.

            I was thinking of that ion pistol due to Merlaggon only having a d6 in shooting and the +2 to hit being useful. He can take the rifle instead, since the gun is only a backup for him... most of the time it will be in limbo as he will be in Dragon form.

            I saw that the tomorrow legion gave Merlaggon a wilks 227 pistol. Sir Sayeen just would like some kind of light weight pistol to have just in case, I am not really all that picky, maybe Merl takes the ion pistol and lets Sayeen "barrow" the Wilks 227 pistol?

              I forgot about the laser pistol when I asked for the ion pistol. If I need to, the laser pistol can do a triple shot to give me the same +2 to hit. Either way, you would likely use the pistol more than I would

                  If people are still RPing in a past post, posting a new thread doesn't necessarily prevent the previous RP from continuing to its natural conclusion (unless you want to close it off). Provided nothing of great significance happens, the previous thread can take place in the past (the night before, or before arriving in the city, etc...)

                  Meanwhile the new thread can continue with actual significant story elements. I find this allows the game to flow nicer. The group doesn't have to wait for the last player or two to get caught up, but likewise a player doesn't have to feel as though they are being left behind simply because they've been busy lately.

                  This is one of the strengths of PbP.

                  Another strength is that the group can be split and the GM can still effectively manage multiple characters in multiple areas.

                  Other strengths include being able to play with people who otherwise couldn't find a time to get together in person, and the ability for a player or GM to consult all of their resources before making a decision without holding other people up.

                    BEHIND THE SCENES IN A JUICERS MIND

                    Fell thinks to himself, Son of a bitch I don't think I have spoken out loud that much since my sisters funeral. Fantastic, I just ruined my career with the Tomorrow Legion. Once we get back - tell command what happened, I except full responsibility? What the hell is wrong with me. I have, tops, 4 years to live? The hell ever if its going to be in a Castle Refuge prison cell. I know someone who won't be returning from this mission. Priority One: Succeed at mission. Two: Keep the rest of the team alive. Three: Once safely on way back to the castle, look for a way to disappear or fake my death, maybe I'll get lucky and we will run into a impossible to kill enemy and I can just go out in a blaze of glory. Whatever happens I won't be going back. Shame, was starting to really like a few of these SET members.

                        Each session is a Quad... when we get our xp. So this means we are on our second session now... that will end the end of March. It is the same timeline I am using to get my hindrances.

                        If I do ever GM I was thinking something along a Castle Refuge Legion, Arcane Anomaly Team needing SET Team 6 to help them out in regard to an artifact being stolen (and team members taken prisoner) while they were exploring some Magic Zone Rift activity.

                        That might need a bunch of Juicers!
