I just realized as I laid out some stuff that the details here are a little more varied than I had seen them in my mind. So to help keep things clean we will have this Sticky thread for all of us to follow.

An executive summary of the current state of things.

@Sam / @Pursuit
Yes, based on what Sam was told. Sam is Gravely's lost brother, and his wife and possible child is the boy in the vision. However Sam does not know all the details, only Gravely does. Sam only has a name to work with and track down, plus the driving feeling that he must find that woman as fast as possible or the child and woman will both die.
PS: To take Nathaniel I just use sgt and he is always at the top.

@Gravely / @Sgt 86Delta
Gravely knows from what he was told he needs to be in roanoke texas (basically near Dallas) and find the woman before morning or she dies. But it is a 17 hour drive from where you are to the city, let alone investigation and hunting time.

@Morri / @stormwell
Morri is left without guidance, knowing she needs to help people, that her family was murdered on purpose and the people who did it completely got away with it.

@Triessa / @Icosa
Triessa received answers, but now knows that her grandparents are hiden in a place she likely will not be able to find bordering the nightlands version of her parents farm.

@Alexis
Alex is left without much clue as to what he is to do, but now has the haunting awareness that someone out there has part of his soul. Perhaps if he tries he can even feel it...

@Nightbane Against the Dark
**So now in this adventure you have to objective to prioritize, one of them highly time sensitive. The other potentially time sensitive, but it is impossible to tell.**
1) Save Rhonda and Daron, must be done by some vague morning time. (The exact time could be determined by information you guys have if you think about it.)
2) Find Agatha and Harold and ensure they both lived and will be okay.

**Likewise there is the loose strings of**:
1) Who killed Morri's family and why?
2) What did Agatha have that was worth letting her husband and herself die in order to destroy?
3) Where is this Night Prince (princess?) who started this whole thing.
  • 2D6 EFFECT
    2 Catastrophe: Something goes terribly wrong. The GM must decide what, but some ideas are a new and permanent Minor Hindrance, the inability to use powers for several days, or an explosion of some sort. The backlash should be thematic if possible. If the hero tampers with dark forces for his abilities, for example, he might become corrupted or summon something sinister into the world. If he’s a weird scientist the device might explode for 3d6 damage in a Medium Blast Template, or he might develop a Quirk, Phobia, or other “madness.”

    3 Backfire: The power succeeds as with a raise but affects a different target with the worst possible results. A bolt hits a random friend, boost Trait increases an enemy’s skill or attribute, etc. If there’s no likely target, he’s Stunned instead. If the power has a Duration other than Instant, it lasts its full term and can only be negated by dispel (the caster can’t voluntarily end it herself).

    4–5 Short Circuit: The power fails but the Power Points allocated to it are spent, along with an additional 1d6 Power Points.

    6–8 Stunned: The caster is Stunned (see page 106). She subtracts 2 from arcane skill rolls for the rest of the encounter (the penalty remains –2 even if she gets this result again).

    9–10 Overload: The character’s synapses crackle and overload with power. He takes 2d6 damage plus the cost of the power in Power Points, including any Power Modifiers the player declared.

    11 Fatigue: The character suffers Fatigue.

    12 Overcharge: The power draws ambient energy from the air, automatically succeeding against the target with a raise and costing the caster no Power Points!
