Buying items: Note any persuation roll if deemed appropriate by gm can have a minus applied to the persuation roll equal to the cha value of the person sellimg the item and if dramatically appropriate make the selling an item more of a haggle by making it an opposed roll.
- Book items: normally are 50% of listed price, this can be modified by being at the legion ( listed price) or seen as an absolute hero( 25%) of listed price. For every success and raise acheived on a persuation roll knock the markup down by 5%. This cannot go lower than a 0% markup.
- Converted TW items: add in a 50% markup ( multiply the total build cost, conversion and mods, by 1.5). For every success and raise achieved on a persuasion roll knock the markup down by 5%. This cannot go lower than a 20% markup.
- Black Market ( non book items, like CS gear, or items with HJ rolls on them): a success on your black market connections will need to be made ( both streetwise and persuasion).
- 10% of book value. Every success and raise on persuation will get you an extra 5% in value up to 50% of book price.
- If a connections edge(if appropriate) or I know a guy is used to find a person that really needs the item begin this task at a 5% bonus per level lf helpfulness(15% min).
- Contraband: some stuff is just too hot for a normal merchant to purchase at any value higher than 5% of book price, but the blackmarket will. Players must use their blackmarket connection to sell it at a higher value usimg the above connections rules.
