OOC Crossover Discussion/Taunting
This seems necessary, if only as a place for the BC to post excuses for why their team is contributing such a trifling number of successes to the Quick Combat.
Re: OOC Discussion/Taunting
Well there will be a combat that really matters coming soon. Then we will see how things work out. (Sorry 13th, but you will need to roll new characters)Tribe of One wrote:This seems necessary, if only as a place for the BC to post excuses for why their team is contributing such a trifling number of successes to the Quick Combat.
Re: OOC Discussion/Taunting
Yeah, there will probably be a lot of Sidekicks and Followers that want to join up with the mighty 13th after it puts down the BC. Not to mention all of the temporally-accelerated love children Jude will father.

I'm sorry. Saving the city and all the innocent people, you BC people don't find that to be a combat that matters? Very interesting. Clearly, you have the black heart necessary to slaughter a heroic SET in cold blood. Probably using a booby trap or some other cowardly ambush. And then you go and turn the cat...or did the cat betray the 2nd to you? The pieces are all falling together now...Humble wrote:Well there will be a combat that really matters coming soon. PS: Marcus,
In quick const you don't roll damage, only your combat skill and the rounds expended (1d6 in your case).
It makes it so your attack will matter a lot more.

The Missile could just be one of the many things you are doing and it it likely that the remaining rounds are fired in other cinematic ways from other weapons.Markus Berger wrote:Got it, thanks, I will edit the post.RFT wrote:PS: Marcus,

Would it be kosher to add one more 'thing' to Lib's post in the crossover? Had a belated notion of something else he could do as part of that Raise. (So no additional mechanical effect, just some more coolness to the scene.)

Re: OOC Discussion/Taunting
The root character that inspired me to make Humble is named Karsa Orlong. He and his people called all humans "Children" because they were tiny, hairless, and could not defend themselves.
Obviously as he leveled up he became much wiser, and more knowledgeable. But it is weird when they are talking about how many children it took to kill one of their warriors and how he wants to make a name for himself by killing some human children and freeing some of his people.

So right now it looks like the 13th may beat us again the second round.
Both teams have only had six players post so far, so there is still room for victory, but they have us by a 1 success margin right now.

Why did Hans do a "duplicate Reroll" when generating magic items? He rolled a shard pistol, communications band and TK revolver. Not to mention, there's nothing stopping you from getting multiples of weapons and items, unlike an Edge or some of the other results.
Also, as Lib noted, those super-staves as written don't work 100 percent for TW.

Hans's starting equipment includes a revolver, and the list said I can get rid of a duplicate item for either a reroll or an extra minor upgrade on the item.

So out of curiosity how long until we gain access to our awesome new F&G rolls?
Can we include the results in this post, or wait for the next?

I admit I factored mine into my post, but since Lib's ending this round deeply unconscious, I figured it was no biggie. Haven't made the changes to his sheet yet, though.RFT wrote:So out of curiosity how long until we gain access to our awesome new F&G rolls?

I would say roll the results, and mark the change if you so want too. But any mechanic effects not until next post.RFT wrote:So out of curiosity how long until we gain access to our awesome new F&G rolls?

So that is great. Did the BC just recruit a Temporal Raider? Guess that puts them back on the Exterminate at all Costs list. That's too bad, I was starting to like... Er, well, at least the cat is okay. But after Viggo, temporal tinkering will not be tolerated!

Sammy tagged Gargamel, Vello, Libertas, Jude, and Z. Sorry about killing Z, but she was possessed by her arm.

Hi, sup?
Hey, where am I?
This isn't the 1st SET OOC area? Damned Time/Space ripples pushing people around. We aren't supposed to meet yet....
I'll see you all later. Someday, my boss, Tim, is going to tell you all what to do....
Have fun storming Scara's Tower and Happy Holidays - hope you don't die.

Heh. Yeah, she gave the big speech about how if the BC and 13th really needed to measure their dicks, there's a whole ruined city out there for an arena. Otherwise, get to work being big damn heroes LOLRFT wrote:Strange I thought I read Ailbhe died, but then I look and Z and Sammy both have interactions with her.
Paraphrased, of course

Right after Cantrell leaves Jude in charge, Alecto starts looking to confer with the person in command of the 13th. I think this needs some Barry White....
